Fred Liang (President)

Fred graduated from Nankai University in 1964 with a degree in Organic Chemistry. He qualified as a patent attorney in China in 1984 as one of the first patent attorneys in China. Since then, he has practiced as a Chinese patent attorney both in China and in the U.S. for almost 30 years.

 

 

 

Jim Liang (Patent Attorney)

Jim is an experienced U.S. patent attorney. He has a J.D. and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Washington.  Previously, Jim was a patent attorney with Perkins Coie, a large law firm in Seattle for almost six years.  Before law school, Jim practiced as a process engineer and a system controls engineer for seven years.

Jim is experienced with a broad range of technology areas including computer software, ultrasound technology, semiconductor processing, transistor design, power circuits, and medical devices.

On patent matters, he is registered with the USPTO.  Jim also holds Professional Engineer's licenses in both Chemical Engineering and in Control Systems in the State of Washington.
